Transition Sickness
A common illness in the twilight regions of the Realm. Visitors often suffer from this condition.
Causes
This illness is caused due to the perpetual twilight that exists in the far northern and deep southern parts of the realm.
Visitor citizens often suffer due to the length of time they spend in the twilight. Often, it is too short a time to allow their bodies to adapt, or it is too much time as their bodies can not adapt.

Treatment
Treatment for this illness is simple. Deportation of individuals afflicted outside of the Perpetual Zone. Many citizens are amicable to this suggestion as their condition is caught quickly by Engineers or local friends who are hosting them.
Prognosis
As indicated by the symptom progression, afflicted citizens can be quickly cured. However, if the illness is not caught, or if the progression is unusually fast, due to an individual susceptibility, then the final prognosis will involve acts of violence, almost always criminal.
Once this occurs the ill person becomes the responsibility of local law enforcement, not health providers such as the Brothers Medicament, or spiritual groups.
