During my exploration of the Why of the Eldu'por T-rvay, I was introduced to a human citizen named Jogn'ojers.
We spent the evening together with mutual friends. It was a festive occasion. Wine and other drinks were had, but I noticed that my new friend Jogn'ojers did not, nor did he eat. Not a drop or morsel passed his lips the entire time. This intrigued me and so I enquired ... gently.

Through the evening we discussed various topics of interest and we came to trust each other. Casually he references varius historical events that I know and speaks as if he had been there. Nothing obvious, but the tone and the whismy of emotion hinted at such. After my fourth glass of wine, I brazenly challenged him on such commentary. And, he smiled a very confident smile and complemented me on my astuteness.
This shifted the mood of our evening from one of light parley to one of deeper conversation. He confided in me that yes, he had been at those historical events, and I of course believed him not one bit. But, he insisted and we travelled to his home which was well provisioned with the subuded furnishings of established and unpretension wealth. A wealth that is a functional part of the environment and thus over looked, just as a beautiful tree is over looked. Something to wonder at, but still merely a part of what should be there.
He showed me it all. All of this tophies, all of his evidence that he was in truth... over thousands of years old. That is quite a condition, for a human. And, I asked him about that.
His house was amazing and as we moved from room to room we conversed on his state of being. He mentioned while discussing a vase of Elfin creation, that he had not seen the light of day since the condition started. While we examined a hanging tapestry commerating a dwarven battle against Abomination, he revealed that he was impervious to age and physical harm. He even demonstrated this by allowing me to attempt to cut him with a ceremonial dagger from a small village in the Glaze. At that point I may have had a little much to drink.
I did in fact spend the night. It was pleaseant. My host was so very civil, urbane. I remember not falling asleep, but I did awake to find myself gracefully arranged in one of his spare rooms, with a note ... and a very robust breakfast awaiting me.
It was a very nice experience. And, when I return I will be sure to look him up and once more spend the evening in his company.
There much more to learn not only about the condition that afflicts my good host, by from my good host himself.
