It's nice to read the other perspective on Au Rhelion's article - tragic character, she could certainly have become a great pharaoh without her capture, her father's distrust and the accident with her brother. And again wonderful art - I love this play of light and shadow, which symbolizes her light magic very well.
The amount of dread I feel reading about her capture is intense. In contrast, the relief I feel now that she's safe at home surrounded by support is amazing! A sad story for sure, but I'm glad it has a happy ending at least for now.
I also liked the complicated relationship with her bio dad, how he hurt her but still loves her, and now they have this weird tension. I find gray-area relationships like that relatable and it's comforting to see them in fiction <3
Poor Elinore. I am glad she has found happiness with Aideen now. I'm so glad she has her brother too.
