Mount Dubliina (doo-blee-nuh)
The southeastern island of Ostroven is dominated by a massive central volcano that rises out of its center and covers several square miles of ground. The volcano itself is around five miles across and nearly twenty miles in circumference, all surrounded by dense jungle. It has been millennia since the last recorded eruption of Dubliina, though it is constantly sprouting new lava leaks here and there, which the inhabitants avoid and divert away from key infrastructure.
Speaking of inhabitants, the volcano is home to a large, predominately-dwarven city of Vurothil, which houses around 30,000 and is mainly focused on mining and forging. Though the mines begin in the city underneath the volcano, they spread out laterally before going too deep, to hopefully clear the magma bubbles. The forges of the city are legendary and are fed by the lava rivers underneath the mountain, with the dwarves who work them said to have gained heat tolerance similar to a denizen of the Plane of Fire.
