Backbone Spires

This massive mountain range runs north-south down the very center of the continent of Ayndrinor, from the Gulf of Viskii in the south to the northern tundra near Camp Frostbite. Colloquially, it is sometimes referred to based on "northern" and "southern" divisions, with the division usually occurring around either Kort  or Crann Sinsear depending on which side of the mountains one is on. These mountains are perilously steep and very rocky. There are no known villages or even camps up in the mountains, though rumors tell of ancient temples or observatories on the top of the world that lie undiscovered in this Second Age.
