Arcadia

The Peaceable Kingdoms of Arcadia is a dimensional plane that inhabits the positive energy zone. Its denizens are mostly good-aligned and strongly favor law over chaos. It is characterized by perfectly lined trees, razor-straight rivers, and other highly ordered features. Its cities are all perfectly laid out in geometric shapes, and its roads are straight and perfect.     More about this plane can be found in the 5th Edition Dungeon Master's Guide, page 66, or in the Forgotten Realms Wiki: here.

The Rain Maiden's Tower

One of the most striking cities in this realm belongs to the Lady of the Seas and Weather, the Nisme Talia. It is built on a coastline with endless sea stretching in front of it - sea that contains perfectly straight waves and a ruler-straight beach line. The focal point of the city is the central tower that rises out of the ground at an odd angle. The tower itself is made of stratified rock that has chipped off at odd angles and lengths, resembling falling rain. The top of this tower is a massive, improbably large landmass that vaguely resembles a cloud from a distance. Here, at the top of this raincloud, is where the Rain Maiden used to spend most of her existence. She still ventures back to the tower from time to time, but it mostly stands as a peaceful reminder of days past for the other residents. Now, Talia passes most of her time with her lover Damara in her homeplane of Elysium.

The Shimmering Hall

Easily the gaudiest and most garish of the cities in Arcadia is the home of the Deirid Níamorr. This massive palace is adorned with gold, platinum, and a variety of gems. The palace is as large as as city, with each of its hundreds of rooms serving as a home for its denizens. At the center of the palace is a massive garden with an impossibly even more ornate dwelling. It is here in this building that the Golden Lord hosts visitors and conducts his business.

The Shepherds' Rest

One other settlement of note in Arcadia is barely a settlement at all. Its perfect yet bland buildings stand vacant most of the time, inhabited only by celestial cleaners who keep things tidy. The owners of these buildings are shepherds of the fallen souls, who venture around all of the planes retrieving the dead and delivering them to their final resting place. These homes in this town serve as rest stops for quick reprieves when the shepherds grow weary of their work. The central house of this city is home to the leader of the shepherds, the first Deirid Olmytria. These days, Olmytria stays in their house most of the time and watches over the town that her shepherds come back to regularly. The Shepherd of the Fallen is more of the shepherd of the cleaning crews nowadays, except when they want or are called to collect special or high-value souls that other shepherds may fear too risky for them.
