Doz, a green goblin with amber eyes who stands slightly taller than most goblins, was born and raised deep in The Black Forest. He was born into and raised within a skilled goblin tribe know as "Clan Eight Legs". The members of Clan Eight Legs taught Doz and all the young goblins how to survive and potentially thrive in such a harsh forest filled with deadly creatures that love to prey on goblins. Clan Eight Legs was not an ordinary goblin tribe nor were they ordinary savages or thieves, the members of this tribe were cunning and well organized. The unique aspect of their tribe that set them apart from other known goblin tribes is that this tribe had a coexistence with giant spiders. Learning how to communicate with giant spiders, the tribe established an organized trade system with the spiders. Clan Eight Legs would bring food substances to the giant spiders and then receive a proper trade of various giant spider goods, such as molted skin, hides of devoured creatures, and precious spider silk. While they may have had a unique coexistence with the giant spiders, what they were really known for were their expertise in assassinations.
Doz trained heavily in this art of assassination, slowly becoming what some would call an expert in assassinating with his crossbow. Doz became so well known with his crossbow and giant spider mount that people began to seek out Doz for various missions that needed to be discrete. While these people sought out Doz violated Royal Law, Doz saw this as an opportunity to make money to purchase additional supplies for this tribe and himself. Until one fateful afternoon when he was resting in The Black Forest. While watching his giant spider shoot his web as small insects Doz became surrounded by a group of mysterious individuals of all shapes, sizes, and races wearing different types of both humanoid and animal skulls as masks. Doz sprang into action, grabbed his crossbow, and made attempt to call to his spider mount to escape out of their clutches. While Doz sprinted through the forest in the direction of where his mount ran off catching insects, he could see that his best friend was cornered into some moss covered boulders by the same type of people who surround him. Doz shot his crossbow, reloading as fast as he could, taking out one by one with precise accuracy, desperately trying to save his trusted mount and friend. While Doz began to aim at one the attackers lunging towards his spider, Doz was caught off guard by an attacker the size of an adult orc. The beastly humanoid grabbed Doz and twisted his arms until Doz was forced to release the crossbow from this hands, dropping it to the ground. Doz was then thrown against a fallen rotting log and began to be punched and kicked by the attackers. Just before Doz passed out from the pain, he could see his spider in the distance also being beaten, the last thing Doz understood from his spider that he loved him. In quick instant, Doz saw spear get thrusted down into his spider's skull, and witnesses his spider's body go limp before Doz himself passed out.
Doz awoke broken and bloodied. He found himself chained by his wrists dangling from the ceiling naked of what seemed to be a storage house of some sort. Upon looking around Doz could see other individuals in the room all chained up by their wrists and some by their ankles, all naked, bloodied, and broken. A human with physicals features that are associated with other Ashinians, a dwarf about the same size as himself, a scruffy looking human, a tall skinny pale elf, and a weak, frail, old man in the corner of the room. One by one each other creature began to wake also noticing the others in the room. As everyone came to their senses, the old man in the corner began to speak. He spoke about the darkness from legends, The Devourer, and how the Devourer's presence is becoming stronger on the material plane. It was after his story that he told us of the prophecy that each person in this room was meant to join the Adventurer's Guild and rise up to the challenge of defeating the Devourer and extinguishing his presence once and for all. After the telling of this prophecy, the kidnappers, all wearing their skull masks, began taking each of person out of this building into the bright sunlight, and as their gaze adjusted with the sunlight, they could tell they were standing near a sacrificial alter and could see the old man was missing an eye. The first sacrifice was one of their own kind. Tribal chants, drums, and dancing were performed until the executioner himself walk up that pedestal and with one fateful swing of his might steel blade, the chanting, the drumming, and the dancing ceased and the only sound was the sound of blood still pulsing from the clean cut neckline where the head was decapitated. As one of the members of the group was taken up there next, Doz had successfully unlocked his chains from the keys he swiped from the guard that came in to escort them out. Doz passed the keys to the next person behind him and one by one they were freeing themselves, and in a synchronized matter they broke free and each tried to kill or knock out some of these cultists. With the ritual sight in chaos, Doz snuck around and found 4 horses, enough to get everyone out of the area. As Doz yelled at everyone to mount the horses, they began to ride away from the sight. As they galloped away from the site, they could hear the sound of flapping birds from behind them. When they turned their heads they could see a flock of Ravens flying from the area they just left and flew in the direction of what they could only assume was Eldamar and they could only assume that the old man was Odin guiding them on their journey.
After riding for a few hours, Doz and this group of strangers arrived to the northern gates of Eldamar naked, cold, bruised, and hungry. They were given simple scraps for clothing by a friendly shopkeeper posted outside the gates. After dressing themselves, they introduced one another. The Ashinian was named Yota, the dwarf was named Argalier, the scruffy human was name Sadler, and the pale elf was named Voronwe or "Voro" for short. They all went to the guild together and with a little push from the receptionists, they all decided it would be better to begin this journey of adventuring together, and so they created their Adventuring Party known as "Ravance" in honor of the ravens leading them to Eldamar.
Their adventurers together lead them to many places from, making a new farmer friend, eliminating the dictator Sai Khatri in Albridge, helping Ashborne choose their next leader, making blood contracts with a mysterious hunchback in Fairhaven, saying goodbye to Argalier and hello to Raikar and Gallak, stopping a ghostly fleet in Fool's Lagoon, traveling the Astral plane and running into the demilich Acererak, magically appearing in The Kottr Sands, finding the lost city of Avaris, destroying Ir Shel Zahav, defeating the 7 deadly sins, summoning of Fenrir, defeating a demon of greed, helping Nona stop a green dragon from terrorizing Albridge's farms, escorting a very tall owl to Castaur to set up an adventurers embassy, and now patiently waiting for their next task. Through their adventurers the party has had say goodbye to Argalier who left back to Eldamar to work with the other dwarves in the city and has to say hello to new members joining their party a male tiefling sorcerer named Raikar and a lizardfolk druid named Gallak. The party also had to witness their friends die in battle, from Sadler being killed by the demon of greed, Mammon, to Gallak being killed by Yota when he was mad with the Hammer of Wrath.
Doz has had some various changes in his form as well. After discovering a book of evils secrets, it caused him to age forward about another 30 years, his eyes became solid black, a tail began to grow, horns sprouted from his head, and his skin changed from green to a reddish color. Today, Doz is still clutching onto the book that gave him this source of power and has begun transforming slowly but surely into something not of this world. He can only determine his next source of power is to establish a group that will worship him and sacrifice in his honor so that he may grow stronger. To hide his appearance from others, he wears a black cloak, with a western cowboy hat that can turn into a giant scorpion when tossed in the air, and he wears a blackened steel jackal mask to hide his face.
