Aya

Aya is one of the five continents of the known world of Solnaria. Legend has it that long ago, the great god Odin claimed this land, bringing his people to spread the influence of the Norse Gods across its diverse landscapes.   Aya is a land of contrasts, featuring a variety of environments and landmarks. In the frigid north, the formidable Jötunheimr Mountains rise high into the clouds. To the south, the vast open grassy fields of The Great Sharon stretch endlessly, offering a stark contrast to the arid expanse of The Kottr Sands desert. Further south, the lush, vibrant tropical jungle of Baat Ya'am thrives with life and mystery.   Three vast oceans encircle the continent: the Ryusoo Ocean to the west, Odr's Ocean to the east, and the Icebound Ocean in the north. To the south, across the Freynari Passage, lies the neighboring continent of Novara. Beyond Odr's Ocean are the distant continents of Celestia, Eldara, and Lorelia.   The inhabitants of Aya and Novara seldom encounter those from the other continents, primarily due to the treacherous nature of Odr's Ocean. This formidable body of water is infamous for its raging, chaotic storms and towering waves, which make navigation perilous even for the most powerful and magically enhanced ships.
