Druidic Medicine of Ildonia

Treating and preventing disease for the Blossoms of Ildonia is a completely new science and magic field. Druids have adapted particularly quickly to the work. Not many have any experience with the physiology or medicine used for treating or caring for the Blossoms of Ildonia. Their skin feels like bark but softer. They grow leaves like hair and style it as such. Their veins carry sap-like blood throughout their bodies. They have no stomach or organs in the same way other humanoids do but they can still drink and eat things. They take much longer to digest food but much less time to process water. Food doesn't seem to be a requirement for all of them but many still enjoy partaking.   As such there are very few documented diseases for the Blossoms which do not overlap with plants. Most of their care is given by druids or elves who know about nature magic if not shared knowledge through Blossom social circles.   A few druids who have become deeply intrigued have begun living among the Blossoms to learn more directly. There is rumored to be an emerging new Druidic Circle focused partly on the craft itself. Because of this close relationship many of the magically inclined Blossoms have begun to study and become druids themselves learning beyond just the circle of healing. This has resulted in many Blossom adventurers emerging from the study of their own bodies and the magics involved in their creation.   For gameplay, anyone who is proficient with the Nature skill can roll for medicine checks on the Blossoms. Using the cantrip Druidcraft can provide advantage on these checks. Healing spells still work normally. Controlling plants through magic may have unique effects which should be determined by the DM on a per case basis.
