Studied at the Royal Academy of Baralj for combat, magic, and general studies. Later studied under a tutor in preparation for the throne and learned about diplomacy, economy, governance, and military among other things. Continued studying on his own and with his advisors after taking the throne.

The betrayal of his father and fiancée has made him unwilling to put his faith in others, worried that he may be turned against once more for greed.
