The Eye of Lačnir
In the evergreen mountains on the point at which the tears of Kjrlanna and Bodhari join in sorrow, lies the tomb of Lačnir. Within it, guarded by the seven saints of the Roudhult family there rests the Emperor's last defense, the Eye that sees all evil and puts to rest all troubles.The Eye of Lačnir is said to protect the user from all forms of ill intent whether physical or mental. Indeed, it can be seen that the artifact negates any form of magic directed towards a certain area around the user. Its might was fully displayed during the reign of the Roudhult Empire; saving them from countless assassination attempts.
Presence in Mythology
The Eye of Lačnir was first mentioned in the Baralian fairy tale The Kind Beast Tortured by the Sun and Protected by the Moon. In the tale, the artifact was formed from the last of Lačnir’s magic to fulfill its promise to Zaśtinik. The artifact showed in a few Barlian tales after that but only mentioned in passing.History
