Azdon The Wolf-Breaker discovered an ancient domination rune once used by the Giants of the region and dominated the native inhabitants underneath Sgand. He then sent them into the The Risir Tribes, destroying one from the inside and causing chaos for the others.

A group of adventures and the tribes of Garar were the frontline against the major invasion as the other tribes west of them fell. They gained allies such as the Kharak Tribes and The Red-Eyed Man. In a decisive battle, they used a magical ritual with the Totem of Fenrir to destroy all the domination brands and killed Azdon, preventing the success of his campaign.

This led to the tribes of Garar uniting under the banner of Fir Blackflag who become the leader of both the remnant Blackfang and Greycoat tribes and founded the Kingdom of Garar.
