The Dragons and the Giants were the first to tap into the power of the Leylines and forged their own empires. The Dragons ruled the skies while the Giants ruled the ground. They gained great power and the two fell into decadence before the violent collapse of their empires. This came about as the Dragons lost control of their Elder Dragon creations who laid waste to their empires across Avestra.
