Wind Blade

Wind Blade is a basic offensive wind spell that forms a thin, crescent shaped arc of compressed air. Fast and razor sharp, it is considered one of the more dangerous beginner spells due to its cutting power and precision requirements.
Every edge of the crescent can cause injury, making careless use extremely risky. A poorly aimed Wind Blade can inflict deep cuts or worse on unintended targets. Because of this, the spell demands careful control and awareness of what lies beyond the intended target.

Effect

Wind Blade creates a focused arc of pressurized wind that is launched toward a target. The cutting force is strong enough to slice through flesh and can pierce the hides of certain beasts and monsters when properly aimed.

Gestures & Ritual

The caster extends their hand with four fingers held close together, almost touching, shaping the wind into a crescent blade. With a sharp forward motion, the formed Wind Blade is released and sent flying toward its target.
