Anatomy

Nocturnal creatures, Forest Prowlers can often be glimpsed amongst the trees and sometimes beyond at night. Their bumpy/scaly green skins helps them to blend into their surroundings, cat-like reflexes and tremendous speed further helping them to evade potential threats. Their long, thin, prehensile tails can be used both to grip things again as a stunning weapon. Two long, straight horns on their heads can also be used as a weapon is desperate situations as well as claws, though contrary to their fairly scary and imposing appearance Forest Prowlers are mostly harmless as they evade contact with others at all costs. Further lending to their the claim of their lack of danger, their mouthes are filled with flat teeth meant for grinding up plants, whiskers under and around their jaws acting as smell receptors to help them detect different foods or potential danger from great distances.

Prowlers have mammalian birth habits, giving birth to typically one live youngling at a time.

These elusive creatures prefer to live among trees, as their name might suggest, either digging dens into the ground with the opening obscured by beaches and leaves or making their homes in the tops of trees to which they climb.
