The sudden and unexpected death of Hekate, Goddess of Magic.

Having ruled her territory for nearly all of the 3rd Age, Hekate, Goddess of Magic, dies suddenly under mysterious circumstances. Her death is felt immediately across all of her territory as her presence vanishes and the multitude of spells she maintained to protect her people from the wilds begin to fail.
