Terminology Glossary

Eternal Glimmer - A particularly potent magic item that was created in the Eternal Realm during the divine wars. Created by divine hands, these magic items are relics of the god wars and are all but impossible for mortal races to replicate. Often simply referred to as A Glimmer.
The Black Hunger - A violent Vampire Cabal founded and operating in Therrania near the beginning of The Third Age. Led by Vampire Lord Gideon Lothorne, 5 of his top lieutenants banded together and betrayed him to demolish the cabal from within. These 5 became the founders of Clan Veruza.
The Unblessed - A derogatory term used in The Queendom of Night in Therrania to refer to any Lycanthrope that does not have the direct blessing of the Goddess Circe. These lycanthropes are most often maddened by their curse and feral, though some are fully in control and have chosen to deny Circe.
The Ocean King - A common alias used to personify The Cerulean Coil and The Great Whorl. Sometimes also called The King of All Waters by seafarers.
Entreating The King - A shorthand name for the act of skirting the outer edges of The Great Whorl to gain speed during a cross-nation journey. Extremely dangerous without a trained crew, as this requires sailing into the pull of the whirlpool.
The Royal Vestments - A collective term for the three confirmed colors of water experienced when Entreating the King, depending on how far you sail into the whirl. The Blue Carpet, The Green Robe, and The White Scepter.
