Founding

In an effort to get more metal ore and to seize control of Provo Canyon the Dwarves sent a party of 500 settlers from Karrak Zeth to create a colony on the other side the canyon from Khag Bern.

Halzar Eberk was chosen as Governor of the island. Unlike Adra Veklani his female counter part in Khag Bern, Halzar focused on building his colony into a military fortress. While this was frowned upon by the Dwarven Council it was seen as wisdom when War broke out between the Dwarves and High Elves. Many Elves would die trying to take the Dwarven stronghold in vain, all the while Halzar lost fewer than a couple hundred of his warriors and mercenaries.

Once the war with the Elves was over Halzar offered the mercenaries he hired homes in his city which nearly doubled it's population. In an effort to sustain his new settlers Halzar brokered a trade deal with the Kingdom of Avalon as well as the Norden Reunia. He also started mining deeper into the mountain to build homes as well as some city quarters above ground which would revolutionize Dwarven building.
