Most historians claim the greatest changing event to world was the Aryan invasion. This primarily due to this event introducing magic and the old gods to world. However a growing number of historians believe another event had greater impact. It would be known by many names: Lady Cult Crisis, Crisis of the Lady, First Cult War, War against The Lady. While this 'event' would only last a year or so it would end with the death of hundreds of thousands, years of civil wars in 2 countries and introducing the most vile evil instrument known to man and god. The Philosopher Stone.

Just as little is known of the vile cult leader known as The Lady very little is known about the crisis she would case. What is known is that The Lady was originally alive before Noah's flood and was responsible for the sinking of Atlantis. It is known that she claimed to be a betrayed lover of Set and Cain and to be able to ascend to divinity by creating and using Philosopher Stones. Some of her old followers also claim her name was Nofre of Memphis though known official records from her cult have yet to prove this.

While official records state world leaders were unaware of The Lady's cult until roughly 30 AC, the journals of Carson Jeptson and Marcus Fay suggest the 2 supposed rivals and comrades learned of The Lady during the Aryan Civil War. During this war both were leading figures for the Aryan Rebels. These supposed journals suggest Carson learned first and joined the cult in order to learn how to destroy it. However this has yet to be accepted by the decedents of both Carson and Marcus. These rumors suggest The Lady was in Avalon Valley ether during the Great Catastrophe or very shortly after.

What is known is that The Lady's Cult kidnapped hundreds of people in secrete (often from those living in nomadic tribes or the so called Barbaric tribes). Sometime during 30 AC the Cult launched attacks on Camelot City. This some how caused the formation of an Adventuring party to hunt them down. The identities of these adventurers are unknown as well as how they formed or why. What is known is they were the ones who reported the Cult to King Carson of Avalon Kingdom.

What would transpire after this meeting was an 8 month manhunt that would go from Camelot to the Shadow Valley and even Suna Garte. While this manhunt was going on The Lady's cult would attempt to take control of Avalon kingdom by revealing King Carson as the right hand man to the High Priest of the cult. However during this attempt Carson and his wife would betray the Cult and with help from the Adventurers and Norden Reunia soldiers would retake his throne from the Cult. When this alliance started gaining ground the Cult forced the king of the High Elves to declare war and invade Avalon Valley.

This invasion was short lived however as the mysterious Adventurers who started this crisis invaded The Lady's temple in Suna Garte. While they wouldn't destroy The Lady they would steal the Philosopher Stones giving her life. They would take these stones to the Temple of the Gods in Camelot where they were destroyed by the gods and their clerics there. This would thrown the High Elves into their own Civil War as the Cults remnants attempted to keep their power and station and would result in a 5th of the High Elven population dying. This devastation would result in the High Elves opening their boarders and attempting throughout the years to be more accepting.

No records of the Adventurers who played such a crucial role in the crisis were ether kept or survived. It would appear that Marcus Fay and Carson Jeptson were determined to keep their identities secret. There are only 2 clues as to their identities. First came 20 years after the cult was thought to be destroyed. In Ft William a tavern keep was closing his bar for the night when he over heard a human male ranger and female vampire cleric disusing plans to adventure into the Shadow Valley to investigate Vampire Activity. When informed of the near suicide task ahead of them the vampire laughed saying "The Vampire Counts can't be more dangerous than the Temple of The Lady. We survived that when some of our friends didn't. I think we can handle the Counts." Before the couple could be pressed for more details they left the tavern never to be heard from again.

The last clue came 50 years after the crisis in the city of Waterdeep when its founder Mihai Ahab and his adviser Caractacus were brutally assassinated. The assassin was seen running through the streets screaming "Justice for The Lady is now complete. Our work shall continue." The Assassin was killed before making out of the city alive. It is known that the Ahab family were spies for Marcus Fay and Carson Jeptson though their involvement in the Crisis of The Lady is unknown. However most historians do believe this assassination serves as proof enough of their involvement. As for Caractacus' involvement no one from the Ahab family even remembers how Mihai and Caractacus met. Though the two did state themselves to be long time friends they never spoke of how they met.
