In the beginning creation always was. Thousands of common intelligence's flew through the void. These were not beings but parts of thought, emotion, and appetite.
For time unimaginable the intelligences grew and changed. Some combined with others to form elements. Others melted together to become one intelligence of greater stature and thought. These Greater Ones grew in power to command those who became elements and those who stayed in their first existence.
During this time the great Eldar, beings with actual form and great power and sentience were born. Those known to common man are:
Arkham, Baal, Uran, Eris, Cthulhu, Vasaloth, Hor, Pandora, Azathoth, El, Orcla, Mirmir, Yog Sothoth, Jagathoth, Druj, Freya, Zarvo, Vepar, Nyx, Asherah, Inuet, Delo, Kershaw.
These Eldar found in themselves power and authority over their lesser intelligences. Some followed Arkham and Baal and used their power to force the intelligences to do their bidding by relying on dominating those around them. Others followed El and Mirmir who sought to entice and convince intelligences to follow them willingly.
The Eldar grew in power, form, and intelligene. Using those intelligenes around them as raw material they formed and shaped worlds, beings of life and other things as pleased them bringing glory to them as creators and to their creations. Now the Eldar's forms were strange. Often swelling, swirling, or morphing in monsterous chaos as they absorbed more intelligences into themselves.
After untold millennia the swirling chaotic void became full of vibrant life and worlds abounded. However not all was well.
For it came to pass that only some Eldar such as El and Mirmir were industrious. Others were lazy. Being used to dominating by force some Eldar like Vasaloth sought to steal dominion over the creations of other Eldar. Others still followed the path of Orcla, Delo, Azathoth who sought to consume all creation. Filled with unquenchable hunger they ravaged through the Mists of the Void consuming all in their path.
War ensued in the void. For most Eldar rose up to defend their creations called the Ravisho or Ravishers in mortal tongue. However their numbers were too few and countless worlds, beings, and intelligences were lost.
And so it came to pass that Mirmir led El and Ashera deep into the void to search for knowledge to fight the Ravisho. Communing with the Intelligences around them, the Eldar learned they could teach the nearby Intelligences how to form into beings of their own.
Many beings with horrifying monstrous bodies were born. Known as the Zevephsta they were strong and wild. Most had forms that were hybrids of future creations and were controlled by many Intelligences all at once.
Being without order they were slow to move as all intelligences inside needed to agree before acting. Otherwise the Zevephsta would be torn asunder. While the Zevephsta had powers like unto the Eldar their chaotic nature prevented them from creation. For as one Zevephsta would create, the other intelligences inside it would destroy what had been made. Believing the Zevephsta to be allies against the Ravisho Mirmir led them to war.
Yet it came to pass that El and Ashera stayed in the place they called Eden. Seeking greater knowledge the pair turned their whole energies into study. During these days they learned how to have children of their bodies. These Intelligences were more developed than than those found in the void they were without body and form
Seeking to give their children more power and form, El and Ashera convinced other Intelligences the raw material to form bodies and becoming one with their children. These children they called Ashrel. In Eden there was peace. For El taught his children to use their powers while Ashera kept watch over their home.
But it came to pass that Freya appeared asking for aid. For the Ravisho has corrupted the Zevephsta. Driven mad and disagreeing with themselves the Zevephsta tore themselves assunder along with many Ravisho and Eldar. Even Mirmir the great suffered. Loosing his whole form but his head.
But many Ravisho remained and only Nyx and her daughter Eris were left to challenge them.
And so it came to pass that El armed his children with might and power and glory then led them to war.
Finding Nyx successfully holding the Ravisho at bay while Eris sowed seeds of strife and treachery among the Ravisho, El left the Ashrel in the command of Nyx and communed with the head of Mirmir.
Then it came to pass that while communing with Mirmir El learned that Nyx had discovered the secrete to creating a Void or plane of existence of her own. Fearing an eternal war El and Nyx withdrew into the void leaving the Ashrel and Eris to keep the Ravisho at bay.
And it came to pass that El and Nyx created a plane called Tarhell in which to imprison the Ravisho. Then the Ashrel and Eris led the betrayers to the gates of Tarhell.
And it came to pass that a great battle took place. For Azathoth and Arkham led their legions against El and his Ashrel. For time unknown they fought all fearing the death being heralded by Arkham and the power of darkness wielded by Nyx. This battle shook the whole void as it strained to contain the destruction brought by El and Azathoth. Then Eris flying among the Ravisho sowed seeds is discord and confusion among their ranks. Caused the legions of Arkham to fight the legions of Azathoth.
And it came to pass that as the Ravisho fought among themselves El and his captains Jehova, Lucifer, Gabriel, Michael and Raphael drove their legions deep into the ranks of the Ravisho. Fighting as dragons, sharks and lions they gave the Ravisho such fright they fled into Tarhell in an attempt to escape.
And it came to pass that when the war was over El left with the Ashrel to return to Eden. Leaving his captain Raphael and his legion to aid Nyx and Eris in their watch over the gates of Tarhell. While Freya tended the head of Mirmir. And once back in Eden the work of creation began anew.
And it came to pass that soon after their return the Ashrel began to fight among themselves. Being jealous of each others power, works and status. Many who fought the Ravisho believed themselves superior to their brethren who had been to young to fight.
And it came to pass that war ensued.
Led by Lucifer a third of the Ashrel sought to overthrow El and place themselves as kings and queens over their brethren they considered lesser.
And it came to pass, El and Ashera were forced to fight their own children. Many of those seduced by Lucifer were too young to remember the Ravisho and the danger they posed. After the near destruction of Eden El was convinced by Ashera and the head of Mirmir to open a second gate to Tarhell.
And it came to pass with a cry of unimaginable pain that shook Eden and the Void, El banished Lucifer and his legions to Tarhel. To become victims of the Ravisho inside.
And it came to pass that El mourned for his children many days.
And during the days of El's mourning Nyx and Ashera combined their powers to create a third realm in the void. This they named Magh Meall. And Magh Meall was a place of pleasure and peace. A place where the remaining Ashrel may rest and heal their wounds. Then after Ashera went to comfort El.
But El could not be comforted. For he mourned the loss of their Ashrel. Those destroyed in war and those who were banished into exile. And Ashera mourned with El.
And it came to pass after their mourning El and Ashera arouse and created a realm inside Magh Meall. This they named Mundane. And in Mundane they placed worlds as numerous as the sands of the sea. Countless ones they created with all many of life and creation. And here they placed their new Ashrel. To be tried and tested as to their worthiness and desire to wield the power of the Eldar.
Now it came to pass that the Eldar feared those trapped in Tarhell may escape. So Nyx and her daughter Eris created a realm which surrounded and became a part of every realm made. And in realm they placed the gates of Tarhell. And Nyx named this realm Elfhame. And Nyx and Eris lived in Elfhame and filled it with their children. And their children were called the Fay and where known to be wild mischievous beings only answering to their mother.
And Freya did take the head of Mirmir to Elfhame and created a home for them there. And they did teach the Fay.
And El watched his children on Mundane. And seeing how they proved themselves he sent many Ashrel to Mundane to teach their brethren how to use a measure of the power of the Eldar. And as his children learned and proved themselves more power was brought to Mundane. At times however Fay would creep into Mundane. Some to help the mortal Ashrel, others however sought to become gods and gain glory....
