Volian

The Volians are a people group from the region of Volias, set in the center of Bonisthia.

Etymology

"Volias" is the evolved Volifenish word from the Ancient Aodhe word for glade, "Fholaoi", which was a shortening of the Aodhe name for their homeland "Fholaoi uae Sieidhae", fully translating to "glade of the wheel". This refers to the rolling hills and pastures that are within the region.

Culture and cultural heritage

Volians have a very close and social culture, primarily centered around art, hospitality, and comradery. Similar to the culture of the Ru-Visha, they focus more on the arts than other social activities, but more interconnected and communicative, thanks to the Solas Cré.
