Diarhne Au

The Diarhne Au is a type of card deck that originates from Volias. It is used by ordinary people for games and magicians for tricks.

Structure

Most Diarhne Au decks have "triages", which are sections of three cards that compliment each other. For example, the Fool's Triage consists of the Traitor, the Drunkard, and the Dreamer, and it is considered the lowest triage in value.   Fool's Triage- the Traitor, the Drunkard, and the Dreamer   Child's Triage- the Child, the Page, and the Wanderer   Sword's Triage- the Warrior, the Mharlach, and the Conqueror   Magician's Triage- the Stone, the Sorcerer, and the Lord   Kingdom's Triage- the Council, the Grand Judge, and the Crown   Sage's Triage- the Well, the Tome, and the Temple Doors   Divine Triage- the Equinox, the Divine Circlet, and the Below

Volifenish Deck

The Volifenish Deck consists of cards and trumps that incorporate elements from both Volias and New Fenris. It is the most popular deck, found in shops and inns across the two nations.   The Traitor- symbolizes an unsightly and undesirable end   The Drunkard- symbolizes stagnation in behavior and folly   The Dreamer- symbolizes rumination on pointless and fickle things   The Child- symbolizes innocence   The Page- symbolizes a drastic change   The Wanderer- symbolizes an endless pursuit   The Warrior- symbolizes a desire for conflict   The Mharlach- symbolizes vengeance   The Conqueror- symbolizes victory over a struggle   The Stone- symbolizes resistance to change   The Recluse- symbolizes loneliness and independence   The Lord- symbolizes vast, yet temporary power   The Council- symbolizes a breaking of some kind, either physical, mental, or social   The Grand Judge- symbolizes an execution of judgment   The Crown- symbolizes vast and permanent power   The Well- symbolizes the search for knowledge   The Tome- symbolizes the containment of knowledge   The Temple Doors- symbolizes an awakening of something   The Equinox- symbolizes equilibrium and wholeness   The Divine Circlet- symbolizes godly authority and absolution   The Below- symbolizes an opposition or mirroring

Monarch's Deck

This deck consists of most of the same trumps, with some name changes, most notably "the Mharlach" to "the Avenger", "the Council" into "the Cupbearer", and "the Temple Doors" into "the Chamber". This is a deck found all across New Fenris.
