Auvis

The world as most know it resides on a plane referred to in most academic texts as the Prime Plane, and while may seem like a conceit derived the common belief that they're the center of the universe, in this case it has a nugget of truth.   The planar maps are a strong representation of the general layout of the varied planes that compromise existence, with the Prime Plane sitting firmly in the middle. The Prime Plane is also the youngest of the planes, and lore says it was the result of a compromise between various primal forces that govern reality as a whole. Auvis is the common name for the lands that are contained within the Prime Plane, and is where most adventures will take place.   The lands of Auvis know change well. Ages of Dragongods, massive apocalypses, and periods of peace and otherwise have shaped the land and the people over centuries, and led to a world that is currently vibrant and full of growth and life. While war and strife aren't uncommon, things are seemingly calm in general on the Prime Plane.
