Anthropomorphic Bipedals

The Anthropomorphic Bipedals or "Bipedals", as it is generally shortened, is an encapsulating grouping for the phenomena of the several species of bipedal, intelligent organisms evolving from existing quadruped species within the boundaries of Aurora (Antarctica.) They are on an intelligence level similar of that to humans and have the ability to communicate with language just like them.

There are two different variations of Bipedals that have existed in Aurora: the pre-intermingling Bipedals and the post-intermingling Bipedals. The former are the Bipedals that evolved from the phenomena of Aurora where many quadruped species gradually mutated genetically to become bipedal organisms. They also developed humanlike tendancies to travel in groups, speak language, and eventually develop societies. The latter is the result of pre-Auroran humans, homo-exoticus, intermingling with Bipedals and changing the genetic makeup of many of the bipedal species. Despite earlier claims, the Bipedals did not develop intelligent thought or the ability to speak in language due to the intermingling -- rather that was developed long before. But the intermingling did result in more social and intelligent genes to be passed to the Bipedals. Furthermore, this offshoot helped spring two other groups of intelligent life: Aurora Humans and Humanoids.

The Bipedals make up around 75% of the total population of Aurora.
