Rot

A black, almost sentient goo-like substance only found in forgotten places.

Transmission & Vectors

Only transmitted from touching the goo or getting wounded by one of the types of Banes. This disease cannot be transmitted from person to person. It can decide whether to infect a being or not.

Symptoms

The area of contant begins to rot away. Every morning, it gets worse and it is unable to be healed by any mundane means. However, if the adventurer continues to get more sites of infection, they can eventually get stronger.

Treatment

Only one mundane thing is known to cure it. It is called Mundane Moss, and it is extremely rare and found in very few places, and those places are only in the Mountains.

Prognosis

Eventually, as the being fails to get magical healing, they will die from rotting away.
