East Peak

A coastal town of decent size, important to the Archclericy of Valon for the trading purposes. Curiously, there is no mountain nearby.

Demographics

Most are middle class craftsmen, working for the Merchants. made up entirely of Human and Lupians.

Government

Theocracy, lead by Bishop Vedaz underneath the Lunarch.

Defences

Stone walls, with ballistae and catapults in the towers.

Industry & Trade

Most of the citizens are craftspeople, creating and selling their products, while those better off are the main merchants that deal with other nations. There is a significant portion of people who farm, but even then they still have to import food in exchange for building supplies. The main manufacturing project right now is actually the building of a new ship, bigger than most, as requested by Cracraes.

Infrastructure

Well-maintained roads go to and from this town, and there is a shipyard that doubles as a trading center due to the number of traders coming in. The temple that Bishop Vedaz lives in and rules from also has a courtroom for him and his advisers to decide things, and deal with important crimes. While rudimentary, the sewer system they have is a leftover from before magic left, so it only marginally works but is better than nothing. Construction engineers have tried and failed to change this system.

Assets

This place has enough equipment to serve its local militia and ships, with about 100,000 silver and 100 gold sitting in the treasury for an emergency.

Guilds and Factions

The merchant's guild tries to influence the government, but it is pretty strongly held by Bishop Vedaz and the religion he follows.

History

While the actual city has been around for a long time, it had to be abandoned for most of that time and only got resettled about 100 years ago.

Architecture

Everything is made out of wood, but the walls are leftover stone from destroyed buildings and remnants of the old wall that had protected this place. While there are multiple symbols on these stones, the local populace makes sure to repair and keep the Sigil that keeps the demons away at night. Each house has its own quirks, but many people do color the doors blue and with the crest of Valon on the door. Graffiti is rare, but when it is created, if it's good, then they keep it.

Geography

On a plain, with no mountains nearby. Is right next to the ocean, but has no source of fresh water. There is however a forest not too far away.

Natural Resources

Wood, grain, metals and stone, fish, salt, clams, lobster.
