To the east, the newly formed Cilese Empire rises like a storm, its armies marching beneath the iron will of Emperor Lucious Raventide—a figure as feared as he is revered. In just three years, the empire has swallowed five of the six nations of the Continent of Solhara , its ambition unchecked, its influence spreading like wildfire. The world watches as Cilese power reaches across oceans, threatening to remake Aurelia in its own image.

To the west lie the brutal, ever-warring lands of Doomfist, home to orcs, goblins, and darker things twisted by generations of conflict. Where once these creatures fought among themselves, now they march as one under a single, mysterious leader. What this means for the long-suffering elves to the north—and their endless border clashes—remains to be seen.

Magic in Aurelia is not a constant. In some places, it flows like a river, empowering civilizations and altering reality. In others, it is feared, forbidden, or barely believed in at all. But recently, strange signs have emerged—a resurgence of divine power, the return of long-lost species, and whispers of ancient forces stirring once more in the deep places of the world. Our story begins far from this gathering storm, in the sun-warmed islands of the Solaris Republic. Peaceful and unassuming, these tranquil lands are shaped by the rhythm of tide and toil—fishing, farming, and quiet craft. While largely Human, a few elves and other folk have made their homes here, drawn by the calm simplicity of island life.

But Solaris holds a secret of its own: the University of Scholara , one of the most respected institutions in the world. Here, scholars and spellcasters from every corner of Aurelia gather to study the arcane, its ancient towers rising like watchful sentinels over quiet villages.

Yet even in this idyllic corner of the world, the winds of fate are beginning to shift. Strange storms churn the sea. Ships vanish without a trace. And something old—something forgotten—is beginning to awaken beneath the waves.
