Vale of Tears

It is said that between The Grand Mountains there was a valley, it was a mysterious place known as the Vale of Tears.
It was said to be a place of great sorrow and despair, where the ghosts of the dead gathered to mourn their lost lives.   According to legend, the Vale was home to a great tree known as the Tree of Sorrows, whose branches were said to be made of pure silver. The tree was said to have the power to grant wishes to those who made offerings at its base, but it was also rumoured that those who made unworthy or selfish wishes would be punished by the spirits of the Vale.   Many brave adventurers sought out the Vale of Tears, hoping to gain the favour of the Tree of Sorrows and have their deepest desires granted.
However only few returned from the Vale, and those who did often spoke of strange and unsettling experiences within its mist-shrouded walls.   Some said that the Vale was guarded by powerful spirits, who would only allow the worthy to enter. Others claimed that the Vale was haunted by the ghosts of those who had died with unfinished business, who would try to lure the living into the Vale to join them in their eternal sorrow.   Despite the many dangers and mysteries surrounding the Vale of Tears, it remained a place of great fascination, drawing seekers of knowledge and power from all corners of the land.
Though the truth of the Vale's power may never be fully known, its legend lives on.
