Troglodyte

Troglodytes are considered a distant relative of the goblin and can be seen in the upper layers of The Cave Layers.
While they are pretty simple minded themselves, Troglodytes are even simpler when it comes to mental capacity, however they do make up for it by being a bit larger and stronger.
While an individual may not pose a great threat to an adventurer, they usually roam around in groups.
