Soulgate at Mangroveton

In the swamps not far south west of the village of Mangroveton, atop a hill, rimmed with poisonous mushrooms and eerie flowers, lies a circle of rocks. They seem to have been laid out in a purposeful pattern.

This area is known by the locals as a soul-gate. No one knows who created this strange device, and only by trial and error, over centuries, has its purpose been discovered. However over time its purpose has been forgotten and now the locals simply think of the stories surrounding it as a fairy tale and don't go near the strange stone circle.

One of the stories told by the locals is that if one sacrifices a sentient being to the soulgate, one can teleport to any other soulgate known to them, how true this story is, is questionable.
