Mandrake

A tall carnivorous plant that can lure its prey by use of different bait it changes depending on what type of creature it can sense.
Sometimes it will have a fruit like bulb to lure in animals, sometimes when it senses humans or other humanoids it disguises itself among the nearby foliage with a fake or real gem or bag of gold in the centre of its mouth.
Once its prey takes the bait it clamps its jaw together which is lined with sharp teeth which it then uses to cut apart and hold its prey.

It usually is found in swamps but has been spotted in regular forests among thick vegetation.
