Detris's Wall

On the western coastline in the barony of Linnlia, crafted of stone and magic, this bulwark against ocean storms stands seventy-five feet tall.

Centuries ago, a furious storm destroyed much of the coast here, killing nearly everyone. The King commissioned a group of five wizards to find a way to protect the stretch of coastline from similar events, which have occurred with some regularity throughout the history of Linnlia.
After years of debate, the wizards, backed by a veritable army of laborers and earth elementals, began the project to build this wall. Upon its completion three years later, it was named after the legendary Human champion, Detris.
The wall snakes its way along the coast for three miles, with watch-towers and lighthouses built into its structure. The stone is reinforced with warding magic to keep those behind it safe from the ocean's waves.
