Ester Peaks
A sprawling mountain range splititng the continent of Aris into the western and eastern half.
Geography
This massive mountain range separates eastern Aris from western Aris. The mountains lead from the Drifting Sea to the Foaming River which runs from Lake En'Anar the massive inland sea in the center of Aris. Continuing downward to the Fridged Brine located on the southern coast on the continent.
The massive peaks are beautiful and give a feeling of solidarity to all who look at them. Settled in the center of Yorhins Gap is the settlement of Eastwatch.
Fauna & Flora
Flora
The foothills are covered in broadleaved forests. These change to spruce and pines at on the upper slopes. The highest peaks of the mountains are left without flora and mostly covered in ice or snow.Fauna
Many animals make their homes on these hills such as the bighorn sheep, many different avian species, black bear, elk, coyote, mountain lion, rabbit, squirrel, and packs of wolves. On rare occation, a dire wolf will be roaming with its pack in search of a meal.Natural Resources
The stone and metals found within the mountain are of good use to those willing to dig for it. There are a great many quarries for stone in the northern portions of these mountains, aswell as coal and iron mines scattered across the southern portions of these mountains.
