Viotonergth (Vai-uh-to-nergth)

The Viotonergth is not proof, that you can survive even if you don't have much food on your cycle. They will never admit it, but they had tremendous luck on their side.
Their import of food literally relies on other Atocite's inability to gather a larger amount of ores themselves.
Luckily various Planners are willing to take on the offer and buy their ores and crystals. The batches are always mixed, so we don't know if they prefer the crystals or the ores.
Dergrifli commenting on the Viotonergth.

Description and architecture

Viotonergth is Atocite of ore and crystal gathering. Its Cycle is along many areas which used to be heavily industrious or inhospitable before the Cataclysm .
As such, food availability is very scarce and is very valued.   Many of the buildings on the Viotonergth follow the design of Vioktill, resulting in crude, though buildings created to fulfill their purpose and barely anything else.
The houses on Viotonergth are built by digging a hole through the tough stone, creating an artificial cave. The understanding of Flow and harnessing the Crystals was the key point on moving from building with wood and stone to the modern cave making.
On the outside, the entry is chiseled or otherwise polished to make it stand out from the otherwise raw stone.   Almost everyone who means something decorates their house with depictions of their family achievements. These decorations on the buildings underline and invoke the culture of the people and their "Fight or die trying" mentality.
Any visitors who are not accustomed to violence quickly find themself feeling uneasy and unwelcome in the presence of these decorations. Many Raiders later claimed, that even when their life was full of various achievements, they felt smaller in presence of the decorated houses of the Vioktill.

Inhabitants and Daily life

The Vioktill on Viotonergth are more civilized than others of their kind. Without proper rules to follow, the scarce rations of food would be claimed only by the strongest ones, resulting in a fast collapse of the society on Viotonerght.   If someone is not active on the raid, they are training their bodies, honing their skills, or fighting to resolve various disputes.   For the Vioktill, only strength matters, and giving up is not an option. As such, various leaders of the raids are challenged for their position daily, right after the raid is finished. Many daring Raiders would attempt to challenge their leader before the raid, but the wounds from these sparings could jeopardize the raid.   Even if someone loses their status due to a lost flight, they quickly train to catch up, learn new tricks, and take back what was taken from them. Thanks to this the Viotonergth Raiders are among the most formidable opponents.
Go to the woods? TO THE WOODS?! HA!
The woods are as inhospitable as the mountainside!
Yes, we all know we can't eat rocks, but we use these rocks to pay for food.
And if you dare to think what happens if the traders stop bringing the food...
  That's simple.
We will start eating the rocks.

Economy

The majority of Viotonergth economy revolves around the various ores and crystals from the hunted monsters. The People on Viotonergth has an overabundance of great weapons, tools, and armors thanks to their skilled Refiners but heavily rely on the import of food.   Many Raiders who hear about the Viotonergth's economy at first thought it would be the best place to research new weapons, however, all of their excess ores and crystals go to paying for necessary import.   Even though the food is extremely scarce on the Viotonergth's cycle, the cycle also contain one of the richest sources of Blossom Crystals. The Vioktill are using them to trade for food, but they are fully aware that eating the Blossom Crystals and trying to control the Blossom ghosting would be viable option in dire circumstances.
Dont go there. If you take a walk there, you will have to face envy for the rest of your life. These houses are so luxurious it is a miracle their inhabitants are not getting spoiled.
I will not be describing it further. For envy itself is a strong catalyst for Corruption.
DerGrifli veteran trader warning their younger partner.

Important place

The most important place for everyone on the Viotonergth is the Valley of Accomplishments. A street of the most luxurious houses reserved for the strongest and most important Raiders. A street created only on a few of the Vioktill's Atocites
To be allowed to reside there, a Raider needs to become a living legend. Many accomplish this by defeating large and dangerous monsters alone, claiming a trophy to give as a tribute to the current residents of the Valley of Accomplishments. Others do so by winning at the Tournament of minds or by being extremely successful at raids.
What is certain, is the motivating and uplifting effect this street has on Vioktill children who walks through it. As the young Raiders immediately start aspiring to make their mark in history and receive the right to live for the rest of their life on the very street that gave them their dreams.

Cycle, Encounters, and Connections

The Viotonergth's cycles around what used to be a mountainside and ore mines and on the edge of dense forest.   Monsters that evolved in areas on the Viotonergth cycle often contain various ores and resources from the depths of the mines. Raiders are hunting these monsters and bringing the ores and crystals back up.   The Vioktill on Viotonergth have very close relationship with the DerGrifli Traveling traders, who supply them with the best diet imaginable. At first, the DerGrifli wanted to exploit the Viotonergth's situation, but they quickly realized that the Viotonergth is most likely going to be the main source of ore and weapons for all wealthier Atocites. Instead of pushing the Viotonergth to extinction through harsh deals, they instead chose to support its Raiders, who are used to the dangerous and tough combat against the ore-yielding monsters.   Part of the Viotonergth cycle also goes through an area with a good amount of monsters carrying Blossom Crystals. Which is excellent leverage in any trade with SinaBlossam. However, even though the Viotonergth's people are in dire need of food, their fear of Blossom ghosting makes them reject eating anything provided by the SinaBlossam.
