Scope
The motivation behind building Atmos (Sunnyverse)
I love the Storm Hawks series, but there's just something about the worldbuilding that's made me want more ever since I got back into it in 2020. So I've spent the last few years falling down a rabbithole of lore that's gone far beyond the bounds of the original show. It's been a joy to share these ideas with the Storm Hawks community.
The goal of the project
I'm hoping to one day write a novel with the ideas I've built for Storm Hawks.
Atmos (Sunnyverse)'s Unique Selling point
I'm really excited to share the champion lore and how it ties into the gods I've built for this world.
Theme
Genre
This world is a fusion of fantasy and steampunk styles. Magic (often coming from crystals) is essentially another word for science, and technology is highly dependent on both. Magic is a resource just as much as wood, oil, and precious metals. There are strict rules to how magic works, however it's possible to go beyond the rules set by the system - provided you're willing to pay the price.
Reader Experience
Mystical, unknown, hopeful after tragedy. The worst is yet to come, but it will pay off in the end.
Reader Tone
Somewhere in the middle of purely light or dark. People are able to get by, but it takes work to do so. Morality is often grey, and while redemption is possible, you have to take it into your own hands. Terrible things can happen to ordinary people.
