Basinant

A small human kingdom bordering Svalria and Phymar to the east.

The red dragon of Basinant represents the dragon Ravnoan, which appeared to the knight Gabrielle Gildon and told her to stop her crusade against the orcs. She protested against the crusades and settled in a protected valley. The country is named for the wide basin that forms its borders. Early in the Orc-wars there were some folk who were horrified by the barbarism and terror wrought on the orcs. These folk adpoted some of the orcish customs. Respect of orcish customs became ingrained in the society. As such they have some folk that worship the orcish pantheon and in general have more druids, hermits, and shamans then the surrounding countries.
