Celestial Elf
A High Elf sub-race
Biology
Celestial Elves are characterized by ashen or white hair (often described as "moon-touched") and jewel-toned eyes. As children, instead of the tell-tale bright blue, their eyes are typically red or red-ish with a white pupil. Celestial elves have never been observed to have brown eyes, and are known to only have black eyes after having become victims of the rituals of the Cult of the Oathkeeper. It is possible for non-celestial elves to produce celestial elven offspring, usually only as a result of one parent being a celestial, in a highly spiritual location (Such as the Tree of Eidlum), or of particular religious and divine-favored parents (certain clerics, paladins, warlocks, etc). Celestial elves born of drow do not gain the improved Darkvision of their parents, as well as their sunlight sensitivity. They have been almost exclusively observed on Clotian Isle of Alum Arcanum.Hunted by the Oathkeepers
Celestial Elves are a main target for the Cult of the Oathkeeper due to their divine nature. While unknown to many, it is assumed that their rituals are designed and believed to give power to their god and sew chaos in the land by turning them into monsters. They're more easily identified than Aasimar, and more common in the active areas of the cult.Naming Traditions
