Iron Hand of Petros

The Iron Hand of Petros is an enchanted gauntlet originally wielded by Emperor Petros of Räsgard. Containing a fragment of the Kaltarohn Obelisk, the gauntlet became seen as a symbol of the Empire, and was traditionally wielded by the Supreme Commander of its armies. The gauntlet was presumed lost for nearly two centuries following the rebellion of Aureg Eddarda and his subsequent flight across the Shimmering Gulf, until it was rediscovered by Ra'zon and his allies in the possession of Vishan Takhar. Ra'zon would wield the gauntlet briefly before delivering it to Viniza Valenti moments before his death.

Properties

The gauntlet possesses a number of abilities able to bolster the resolve of allied soldiers within 60 feet of its wielder, through the shouting of the following command phrases:

• Raise Your Shields!: All creatures of your choice within 60 feet of you may add your Charisma modifier to their armor class.
• Stand Firm!: All creatures of your choice within 60 feet of you gain advantage on weapon attacks if they are within five feet of an allied creature.
• Steady Yourselves!: All creatures of your choice within 60 feet of you gain immunity to becoming charmed or frightened.
• Rout Them!: All creatures of your choice within 60 feet of you may take the Dash action as a bonus action.
• Push Onwards!: All creatures of your choice within 60 feet of you gain a number of temporary hit points equal to 2d6 + your Charisma modifier.
