Location...Shadowvale Description...Festival of Corvus Corax is a festival to honor the great Hero Corvus in the legend Corvus Lux. Corvus Lux was believed to be the hero during a great battle with the goddess Lolth . The Great Corvus Lux is depicted as a large carrion that prays on the spider queen Lolth. Deep in the forest of Shadowvale is an open cavern in the pit of a mountainous rise. The darkness within is so pure than no Shadow Elf or Drow has sight. The size and depth of Cavern Falls could swallow a barge. In this place the Underdark and Shadowvale meet. Corvus Lux, summoned by the ancients of Shadowvale, protects the entrance of the two worlds.

Ritual... In the shadow of night Trinkets are offered to the spirit of Corvus Lux at the end of the festival. Artisans of the tribes craft beautiful baubles and glass idols to be used /offered at the festival. The borough of Shadow vale holds a celebration with a courting chase symbolizing the growth and unity after the spider queen was defeated . The people of Shadowvale adorn themselves in feathered garb and webbed crowns, in this display they feign the chase of the spider queen and the heroic battle of Cavern Falls. There is a village feast after the capture of the web crowned participants to symbolize Corvus Lux feasting on the body of Lolth.
High elf culture ritual... All offerings from the festival are wrapped in spider silk and taken to summon the spirit of Corvus Lux. The gifts are offered at the edge of cavern falls on the blue moon of the third quarter of every year. It is an ancient secret to use the spell of fairy fire mixed with a concoction of herbs drunk before the ritual incantation revealing Corvus Lux chosen offerings. These offerings are left at the edge and the others are discarded.
