The Earthcaller is the neutral good gnome deity of earth and nature. The Earthcaller is a god of deep earth, and the life within it. It is the Earthcaller who is also seen as the gnomish god for the dead.
In reality, Earthcaller is the protégé to Moradin, learning how to work the rarest and deepest of the world metals.
Earthcaller is one of the oldest Lords of the Golden Hills, and he once oversaw many aspects of gnomish life that are now the preserve of other deities, such as mining (which has passed to Steelskin) and jewelry-making (which has passed to Glittergold).
It was also said that in ancient times, it was Earthcaller who gifted rock gnomes with their ability to speak to burrowing animals.
