elves are found all around the world of Astoris, most prominently around mining towns for ash elves, forests and woodlands for land elves, and mountains for sky elves.

All elves speak a form of elvish, and many also know the Astorian language, though some do not as they believe it to be a somewhat archaic language.

History

Elves appeared on the material plane of Astoris a few thousand years ago from a rip in the fey wild. Since then they have found many places to call home and have diversified in the time since.

Elves are fairly common in the fey wild where they are from and are less common in the material plane. They are most commonly seen as ash elves, the only subgroup that did not take place in the fey war.
