Land elves are attracted to a sense of symetricallity from top to bottom, if one has an ornimentation on the top of thermselves, they would often have a similar or corresponding ornimentation on the bottom. these ideals are derived from the formation of trees, they cant exist without the roots which hold them tall and go nearly as deep below the ground as they do above.

Courtship Ideals

Land elves courtship rituals consist mostly of meeting a person at a gathering or multiple gatherings and inviting them out from there, much like a plant sends out pollen before being able to bear fruit.

Land elf relationships are mistaken often times by outsiders as one similar to that of siblings, they are often more about familiarity and comfort than looks or power.

Land elves will almost always have some kind of anklet on one ankle and an earing in the opposite ear in order to maintain the odd symetry they seem to adore.

Around the 5 seasonal shifts land elves will be known to throw a massive feast for the entire town in which they live, these feasts collectivley known as Taenu Addewid are used as a way for them to meet others and gain lasting memories.

History

Elves are a race of people which were leaked over from the fey wilds onto the prime plane some thousand years ago. Land elves are often seen as protectors of nature and usually seek to keep it in balance with the rest of civilizations progress. they were nearly wiped out in the fey war, and those that remain stay true to their ambition of keeping the world in check with nature.
