Wendei is the smartest person in the room and she knows it. She also has no qualms in correcting you if you try to tell her that’s not true. Not only is her bloodline one of the most powerful in terms of magical ability, but her family poured a sizable sum into ensuring she got the best education possible, with all of the best tutors and well-funded programs, to let her reach the limits of her capability.
Physical Description
Body Features
Skin: Beige/Fawn--Olive/Bronze undertones. Clear skin.
Hair: Midnight Black; elegantly thin, and only long enough to sit at the base of her neck, cut in the "a-line" fashion, showing off her mark of Vidya. It keeps off the back off her neck, and keeps the sides of her hair long enough to tie back when they (rarely) get in the way.
Facial Features
Round face. Very elegant, regal features that make her seem incredibly sophisticated. Has a short, flatter nose and a small, cupid's bow mouth. She has square, pronounced cheekbones and almond-shaped eyes with lowered eyelids and a soft, rounded jawline. Very doll-like, much to her chagrin. Cherubic, even, until she opens her mouth.
Identifying Characteristics
Has a tattoo of the academy's insignia (the symbol of Vidya, Goddess of Magic) on the back of her neck, marking her as a full-fledged, officially licensed magic user. It started as a simple shape, akin to the opening of a conch shell, trailing from a line up the middle of her neck. She got the inner circle when she joined the Collegiate of Magics, and the rest was completed upon graduation. It's been embellished with a final dot in the center, representing her ascent to the status of Grand Mage.
Special abilities
A gifted wizard, with the knowledge and fortitude to cast devastating spells if need be. Mostly uses them for convenience in her research, but is generally very eclectic in her usage.
Apparel & Accessories
She doesn't put too much effort into her appearance not necessarily for lack of caring, but for being busy and lack of conscious thought about it. She doesn't put on airs and doesn't set out to impress people, but she knows how to dress up and interact with nobles--and so, she knows how to gussy up as well. She just usually doesn't bother unless its part of her ingrained routine, which is generally limited to washing. However, her clothes are another matter entirely. She detests being dirty, and will only wear the finest robes that make her education and noble birth explicitly clear. (Except for when she's busy or working in the lab, where she'll use appropriate attire for dealing with chemicals and ink.)

Personal history
With her family’s support, she quickly surpassed her three older sisters, and came to be known as the Ravenscream Prodigy, and her thirst for knowledge has not ceased. Although part of a noble family, her parents only put minimal effort into grooming her socially, far more interested in developing her powers as much as possible. As such, Wendei never really learned basic politeness or necessary social skills; and with her family backing her, no one was in a position to call her out for anything she did.
Her three older sisters, adequately talented in and of themselves, gave up trying to be The Best, and were content to thrive in their social circles, wielding immense social power where their magical limitations failed them, leaving Wendei free to pursue her education and the wealth of knowledge the world had to offer.
Wendei completed her schooling—in that, there was no more they could teach her, or even dared, in fear of what such power could wreak upon the world—and began doing research, completely and utterly dedicated to finding out as much as she could about the world; frustrated by the limits that had been placed upon her magic, and so she turned to history, the sciences, and other wells of knowledge to fill that emptiness in her chest. She never even thought of leaving King’s Holding; because what could the outside world have to offer?
Then, by random happenstance, Wendei happened to be working at the collegiate offices when Naira and Dimitri came by, following up with one of her fellow scholars on the translation of a text, when, recognizing them as fellow nobles—and smitten by Naira at first sight—she offered to assist them, and found that her colleague had been giving them false information. They asked for her to assist them on the rest of the case, and she agreed, so long as she was allowed to join them wherever they went next.
