Dragonlord Astilabor
Dragonlord Astilabor is a green dragon, considered a god by the Azer (hill dwarves) of Surntra. She rules over Sylvanmere and Everton in the manor of a ruling lord over a fiefdom. Tithes are paid to her seasonally.

Physical Description
Special abilities
She emits a corrosive, acidic gas that sometimes covers the forest. It does not harm the land or trees, but is poisonous when inhaled. It can be identified by a pale green color and the stinging odor of chlorine.

She has a rather standoffish approach to rule, intervening only when the human ruler, Archduke Kendrick Silverheart, cannot. She protects the forest from the devastating effects of the war between Surntra and Thullurn.

Contacts & Relations
As Dragonlord, Astilabor is closely affiliated with Archduke Silverheart, who presides over Sylvanmere. The two have been known to clash aggressively over foreign policy in particular and safety laws in general, but neither has resorted to violence yet—Astilabor has not deigned to eat the Archduke and he has not sent dragon-hunters after her in turn. They work in precarious balance of power which has many in Everton holding their breathes for the time when the scales tip heavily to one side.
Astilabor has dubious relations with the other dragonlords who inhabit the continent. Their interactions are often either shrouded from mortal eyes and ears or loud enough to shake the skies. Generally, the dragonlords avoid trespass on another's territory.
Wealth & Financial state
Astilabor is given a ten percent tithe every year in the late autumn. She amasses wealth and stores it in her treachery, which no person has live to seen, except perhaps for her most loyal subjects. This wealth is the testament to the Dragonlord's greed, but she does not keep it all in her hoard. Much of Sylvanmere's tithes go towards infrastructure and defense (paying the wages of the Watchwolves, for example). Astilabor does not stoop to divvy up these funds herself—her acolytes distribute the tithes in the spring to their appropriate investments.
