Age of Dragons

After the fiends were defeated in the Origin Wars, the gods brought their worshippers to settle the single continent of Astoria . Owing Bahamut and Tiamat a great debt for their part in winning the Origin Wars, the other gods let dragons establish dominion over the world. For tens of thousands of years, the dragons ruled supreme in honor of their critical role in the defeat of the fiends. Despite their rule, the dragons were decreed by Bahamut to treat the mortal races with respect and integrity. However, the dragons eventually grew arrogant with their immense power. Eager to usurp her brother, Tiamat seduced many dragons into creating cruel empires that enslaved the other races.
After hearing the cries and suffering of their worshippers, the other gods grew angry at Tiamat and her dragon overlords. This led to another world shaking conflict known as the Creation Wars.
