Volmare

The Province of Volmare is a large band of land of the South of Hule Kingdom that extends almost the whole width of the kingdom. Also as an honorific title is is referred to the "Kingdom's Shield" since it's military presence protects the whole kingdom from the incessant incursions and assaults of the Savage Coast. Inhabitants of this province value greatly the compulsive military service and is a large part of their culture. Almost every aspect of their life has a military discipline tone to it. Combat is so much present they see it as an obliged passage.

The province's symbol is a dragon wing . All official scripts and communications are branded with this symbol.

It has a famous military unit called the "Dragoon Knights" who are reputed to be dragon slayers and ironically composed exclusively of Dragonborns. Rumor has it they were the champions of the kingdom to defend the population against the great dragon infestation. it is a heavily armored cavalry that specializes in fast mobilisation and dragon slaying. Nobody saw the dragon infestation coming, and never again will they be taken by surprise even of dragon sightings are extremely rare in the last 100 years or so. The unit flag resembles closely the province's: A black dragon wing on a red background trimmed with gold.
