Sheriff Zeyn Choukri
Sitting at the head of a position it seems nobody wants--not his men, not the people he protects, and indeed not even himself--Zeyn Choukri fights to hold together a modicum of law and order in a land too harsh to foster them. A refugee from D'yadya who found new purpose in Tarwa'kem, Zeyn is world-weary but determined, worn but unbeaten. He found some measure of comfort and aid from a group of adventurers that brought in a wanted man his usual guards seemed unable to capture. More than that, they brought him information about a criminal conspiracy in the town he seems eager to chase down and eliminate.
Despite these good relations, he remains wary of Laena Zahir--or more specifically the class of people that she represents. As a D'yadyan he remains significantly below her in the social heirarchy of Tarwa'kem and seems to harbor great mistrust against her caste. Her stated philosophy seems to have won some peace between them, but a blind man could see more remains held back than what he has shared.

Zeyn cuts a ridiculously imposing figure both with his height and build--his muscles are fierce and honed for speed, power, and precision. He walks with all the confidence of a man that has killed before, will again, and will do so with the same speed, power, and precision with which he walks. There is conflict writ into the youth of his features, however, born over his years as a refugee in a strange land. He wears his hair long and loose despite the frequent call his duty makes for violence; the pale hue of which marks him at once as D'yadyan.
