He comes from a prestigious line of scholardom in the university, having studied and served under the esteemed and late Velethoui. Despite the rather large amount of prestige that experience has granted him, Yenden proves himself an even-headed young man that practices his studies and research with humility and kindness.
He works closely with a fellow former student of Velethoui's, Diazana Truebough, and frequently fosters cooperation and group study between the students under his own guidance and hers. He keeps close with his family, is a frequent contributor to school social functions. From his time at Shurevaire Gothmog knows Yenden to be a genuine man with more intellect and curiosity than social know-how. He is a man of earnest nature without skill or inclination toward lies.

They crinkle a little but readily when he smiles, an expression often competing for space on his usually clean-shaven and stressed face.
