The settlement surrounding the company's operations is small and functional. It consists primarily of housing for the workers, administrative offices, and processing facilities. The mining operations have left an indelible mark on the landscape, with vast open-pit mines and blasted openings in the rock faces scarifying the once-pristine steppes.
