Leafcap Woods

Leafcap woods is a part of the great forest, but the region was overtaken by large mushrooms. This section of the forest is populated by large bugs that feed on either the fungi or other, smaller bugs. It is generally untouched by the Legion due to the aggressive fauna and acid pools scattered around the region that cause unneeded casualties.

The mushrooms can grow to humongous heights, rivaling the giant trees of the old forest. Some mushrooms grow attached to the remaining trees, slowly killing them in the process. The mushrooms stay close to this region, relying on the acid pools to break down nutrients from the soil for their humongous stem.
